When can we expect chapter 6? Please take your time, everything you've written so far is a masterpiece, but is there a timeframe you have when you'd like to try and post it? Just to give us readers something to look forward to?
My goal is this summer (it's summer on my end of the globe at least). I am hoping to have it out to subscribers on Ko-fi and Patreon by the end of July or even into early August. And then the public release would go out 30 days after that. My personal life has been...on fire here and there since January, so it's delayed production substantially. But I'm still truckin' and determined!
I haven't set a firm deadline since I tend to not do well with them. I did that with chapter 5 and then had to cut some of the detail out of the end. I've fixed it for the next update though, so you'll get a little more in Ch 5 plus a huge new chapter. I just have a few sections to go, so I feel like my goal is obtainable.
I completely understand the firm deadline thing. I'm sure I speak for all of the readers when I say, take your time, do what's best for you. Your current method is what gives us this amazing story, so we are willing to wait however long we need to
I do not know you, and i sincerely hope you don't know me, as I am, frankly extremely awkward, and probably a loser, and while I try not to ask to much of people, for I find it hard to, BUT... if i may ask~ neh, BEG for one thing for this work of art and passion, its that you don't make me chose one, I physically can not, for I love them all DEARLY, and can not muster up the strength to not romance most... IFnot all of them.

Sadly, I will have to make you choose one - at least one at a time. The best I can give is the ability to flirt and romance everyone at once until a point, and then make a few saves, lol. But who knows how I will change in the coming months, perhaps you'll have your wish in ways I do not yet expect.

But the single heart is a flirt option, double heart is a flirt/romance option that leads to physical affection or sexual act of some kind. I'll be sure to check for that by the next update, I have changed the landing page so many times that I don't remember what it looks like, lol. And you don't have to select any heart options for romances either, if you're curious. :D

Seriously though, this game is incredible. I actually recommended this game to someone who wanted to write better flashbacks. The writing is masterful, the characters are interesting, and I'm deeply in love with the world. Oh, and I LOVE my character. I appreciate the customization.

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this. Oswin has shot up to being one of my favorite ROs. I love the dynamics he shares with MC, specifically how bold MC can get under his skin and fluster him (I need more flustered ROs!), but I also enjoy his character depth and the darker areas he struggles with. Looking forward to seeing how his romance will unravel.
But as a whole, this IF is well-written and crafted. All the ROs are interesting and with entertaining intimate moments. There's never a dull moment - the story is packed with adventure and intrigue.
This story broadly fits some themes that I struggle with a lot, like getting too frustrated and can't read stories with it, the whole weak link protagonist thing. It's very triggering for my irl problems. Had read on tumblr in an ask that it's not so perpetual, but even if it was this does such a good job of not making that the MC's personality. Like, how forward you can be about flirting, being honestly very dominant in some of those scenes; normally the protagonists in the stories I mean are only allowed to be stammering blushing messes. And, besides that, there's continuously choices that let me as the MC express the frustration and guilt and everything. Being able to acknowledge how bullshit and unfair the hand that was dealt is in the story itself is huge for making it feel like it actually matters, for resolving some of the tension as like proof that the author and the characters all care. None of that is the case in the other stories I reference, and it does so much.
I really really enjoy this, much as I still experience the frustration like a comment further down also talks about, and I never would've thought I could for something that would hit some triggers like that.
Also want to mention how much I love a lot of the flirting, for reasons already mentioned but also just how mature they feel. Don't know how else to describe it but I like it a lot. I know there's no poly but I'm looking forward to doing whatever thing I can manage with Duri and Zahn (which again goes with the maturity and variety the flirting and romance and sex has here).
Poor Oswin getting so big brother-y from watching first some random pilgrim and then an actual wolf fucking tripping over themselves to smooch the MC, it's very very funny
I appreciate your words my dear, this was very introspective for me. Not that I take joy in frustrating you, but one of my goals for this projects is for readers to truly feel it. As much as my skill allows, I want it to be an immersive experience in both trials and victories. Naturally, we're still in the trials phase, lol.
I'm glad you like the flirting too! I try to make it as authentic as possible. I love IFs but sometimes the flirting is a little....dry toast for my liking 😆.
Oswin is 100% big brothery or maybe even territorial when it comes to the others, at least at first lol. Zahn and Duri more so I think. It's an adjustment for him, but a fun one to read. ^_^
